Info On The Book's Publisher:

Published by the Department of Philosophy of the Faculdade de Filosofia de Braga at the Catholic University of Portugal, the Revista Portuguesa de Filosofia is a periodic publication appearing four times a year with Portuguese as its official language. It is, however, open to the possibility of publishing original texts in other European languages (e.g., English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Galician, or Catalan), having as a policy that at least 50% of its texts be in Portuguese. Although identified with the Christian tradition, the Revista Portuguesa de Filosofia welcomes in its pages a plurality of philosophical perspectives, its only requirement being that the work to be published be of superior quality, reveal scholarly integrity, and observe the recommended methodological guidelines for the formal and scientific presentation of texts. The articles to be published in the Revista Portuguesa de Filosofia may be either solicited or submitted. Once published the articles are usually indexed by the following data bases and bibliographic repertoires: The Philosophier's Index (Ohio, USA); International Philosophical Bibliography / Répertoire Bibliographique de la Philosophie (Louvain, Belgique); Francis-Builletin Signalétique (CNRS, INIST-France); Ulrich's International Periodicals Directory (New York, USA); Internationale Bibliographie Geistes und Sozialwissenschaftlicher Zeitschriftenliteratur (IBZ-Alemanha).
